Our first Boxer was purchased as a companion in 2000, he was a red & white male called 'Chief', we attended a small local show and were given lots of encouragement from fellow exhibitors & his breeder. Needless to say the show bug got us right there and then. We soon realised that he wasn't good enough for the showring, (although we did win a Reserve Best in Show with him!) and so, we set about searching for our first show bitch.
We began with our first show quality boxer in April 2002. Tash, Eloyd's Catherine Peak, was a plain Brindle female from a former boxer breeder who is a very good friend of mine. She turned out to be one of the best dogs we have. She was a little difficult to housebreak at first, but Tash turned out to be a great family dog. She was the reason we fell in love with the breed.
